INFO:
🛑This is not an accusation, AT ALL. Many parents think that explaining what is s*x at 8 years old is too early. They are afraid that their kid is not ready to hear it yet. Usually, once parents hear the stats, facts, & guidance on delivering the layers to this talk they will say: ✔️“It’s an uncomfortable topic but now that I know it is age-appropriate, how do I get prepared?” 🤯“I didn’t realize the CSA rates are so high amongst kids aged 7-13; I don’t want my child to become a victim.” 📚“I feel like I’m not ready to explain this right now. What talks can I start having today to build up to the S*x talk by the end of the year?” Those ⬆️ are typical responses that I hear parents say. It’s a 🚩 when a parent completely disregards the facts and uses emotion and personal beliefs to prevent a child from receiving age-appropriate s*x education. Do you think this is a red flag?
